Berrett, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with several decades' experience providing counseling and psychotherapy as well as serving in executive and leadership roles in healthcare settings. Dr. Berrett has been a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). he is co-founder and past CEO of Center for Change, specialized eating disorder hospital and treatment programs based in Orem, Utah. He is author or co-author of many publications including books, book chapters, articles, and professional peer review journal articles. Relevant to this talk, Dr. Berrett is co-Author of the 2007 APA bestselling book, Spiritual Approaches in the Treatment of Women with Eating Disorders. Following formal retirement in 2018, Dr. Berrett works part-time as a psychologist and business consultant at Berrett and Company, LLC, and as Senior Advisor at Bridges Psychotherapy Solutions.
