Michele Gonsman, RN, BSN, ALNC, CPSS, has been a registered nurse for 20 years. She has extensive experience in multiple nursing specialties including ER/Trauma, General Medical/Surgical, Orthopedics, Neurology, Skin and Wound Care, and Telemetry. Michele has worked in the acute care area for 20 years and has also worked as a clinical consultant for a medical company, where she lectured frequently on pressure ulcer prevention and management. She has performed prevalence and incidence research studies in relation to pressure ulcers. Michele has been a clinical instructor for nursing students. She is also an advanced legal nurse consultant, which enables her to have unique insight into documentation and facilities, and has written educational programs relating to forensic nursing. Michele has done extensive research on the Affordable Care Act and how it is affecting not only nursing, but the entire healthcare field. She is currently writing a book on this topic. Disclosures:
