SUZANNE MATSON, PHR, SHRM-CP, LPC

Suzanne Matson, PHR, SHRM-CP, LPC,  is the principal of Matson Practice Management & Consulting, LLC, where she provides Human Resource Solutions for businesses and assists employers in identifying, troubleshooting, and solving problems while minimizing potential risks and maintaining compliance with ADA, FMLA, FSLA, HIPAA and other federal and state regulations.

Ms. Matson is uniquely qualified to assist employers with addressing mental health issues in the workplace having spent over a decade as an HR Business Consultant as well as 10 years working with people facing mental health issues and crisis as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.

Ms. Matson earned her master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.  She holds the designation of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through the Society for Human Resource Management.
