LEE A. ROBINSON, MS, CCC-SLP

Lee A. Robinson, M.S., CCC-SLP, has over 20 years of clinical experience working with children and adults who have social communication deficits associated with ASD and other communication disorders. She is the director of the Speech and Language Clinic in the Department of Communication Disorders at Brigham Young University. She has published articles and presented nationally with Carol Westby, PhD, CCC-SLP, on promoting the development of Theory of Mind in children with various communication disorders.

 

Since joining the faculty at Brigham Young University in 1999, Professor Robinson has collaborated with Drs. Brinton, Fujiki and Westby to develop a variety of therapy approaches that target social communication. She has also published articles and presented nationally with Drs. Martin Fujiki and Bonnie Brinton on developing social communication skills in children with communication disorders. Professor Robinson worked in public schools where she saw first-hand the difficulties children with communication disorders had in making and keeping friends. In 2014, she received the Benjamin Cluff award for excellence in teaching from the McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University.
