NANCY WILLIAMS CYR, MSC, CCC-SLP, E-RYT-500

Nancy Williams Cyr, M.SC., CCC-SLP, E-RYT-500, is a fellow of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), an internationally known yoga therapist, Zero Balancing practitioner and Reiki master. As a speech-language pathologist, Nancy has over 36 years of experience working with children with autism, ADHD, neurodevelopmental and learning delays, language and communication disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders, sensory integration disorder, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome in private practice and in rehabilitation. She has provided yoga therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups with developmental delays since 2001.

 

Nancy is the author of Yoga Therapy for Every Special Child – Meeting Needs in a Natural Setting, a book that contains a specially-designated yoga program for use with children of all abilities, and provides both parents and professionals with the knowledge they need to carry out the yoga therapy themselves. She offers yoga therapy workshops, lectures and demonstrations for occupational, physical and speech therapists, psychologists, educators and the parents of special children.
