NICK E SLAYMAKER, JD

Nick E. Slaymaker, JD, of Counsel at Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP, represents individuals and small businesses, including those in the healthcare and food industries, in a variety of legal matters including health law, employment and contract law, business formation, probate, guardianship, and related civil, regulatory and administrative litigation. Before joining Doerner and Saunders, Nick was a Senior Associate with Scoggins & Cross, PLLC, after serving as General Counsel for the Oklahoma State Department of Health. He also serves as an administrative law judge for the Oklahoma Merit Protection Commission.

 

Mr. Slaymaker received his Bachelor of Science Degree from East Texas State University. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. While at Oklahoma City University School of Law, Mr. Slaymaker received the American Jurisprudence award for Trial Practice. He is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma state courts and agencies, all  federal district courts in Oklahoma, and in the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

 

Mr. Slaymaker has made numerous presentations on health, privacy and employment law, including seminars on Oklahoma mental health law.
