KEVIN LAUDNER, PHD, ATC, FACSM

Kevin Laudner is a certified athletic trainer with over 15 years of clinical experience in the high school, collegiate, and professional athletic settings. A professor and director of the graduate sports medicine program at Illinois State University, Kevin is an active member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. He is currently collaborating with a Major League Baseball franchise to efficiently identify and treat shoulder and lower extremity pathologies in the professional baseball player.

Dr. Laudner holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Rehabilitation Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine, a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Performance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. His research focuses on the prevention and care of shoulder pathologies in the overhead athlete and manual therapy techniques in the evaluation and treatment of various orthopedic injuries. He has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine, Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy, and the Journal of Athletic Training. Kevin routinely lectures at professional meetings and is a manuscript reviewer for seven sports medicine journals. His unique experience as a clinician, educator, and researcher allows Kevin to present the current trends in an interesting and energetic way.
