SHIRLEY CRENSHAW, MSW, LCSW

Shirley Crenshaw, MSW, LCSW, has been specializing in the treatment of children with attachment disturbances, pre/post adoption therapy, physical and sexual abuse, anxiety, trauma, stress and grief for the past 16 years. She has a reputation for successfully treating the most challenging behavioral problems in the children she has seen in her practice. Shirley spent 28 years working with abused, neglected, and traumatized children for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and Missouri Division of Family Services in multiple roles including Adoption Specialist, Child Protection Services Worker, and Child Caseworker.

 

Shirley is a registered clinician of the Association for the Treatment and Training on the Attachment of Children (ATTACh). She has completed numerous attachment therapy workshops, and has conducted numerous workshops for child welfare and clinical professionals, as well as parents, the legal community, and school personnel. She actively holds membership with the National Association of Social Workers, the Missouri Society of Clinical Social Work and Psychotherapy St. Louis.
