LAURA TUBBS BOOTH

Laura Tubbs Booth, has represented public sector clients in administrative, state and federal court proceedings for over 20 years. She has had the opportunity to represent clients in several Federal District Court and 8th Circuit Court of Appeals cases that have shaped education law in Minnesota.

 

Laura is a summa cum laude graduate of Hamline University School of Law and received her bachelor’s degree in Business from Michigan State University. Ms. Booth was an attorney and partner in a large law firm for many years. She also served as Special Assistant Attorney General while in private practice to assist with litigation and training regarding special education and discrimination issues involving juvenile detention facilities.

 

Laura has completed certified mediation training and has served as a mediator in Hennepin County District Court and on community matters. She is a partner in the law firm of Booth & Lavorato in Minnetonka, MN and is a frequent speaker on education and employment topics.
