The Skin & Wound Management Certification course is provided by the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI®). WCEI works in conjunction with the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® (NAWCO®) in preparing students for the Wound Care Certified (WCC®) certification examination. WCEI is a dedicated center of education designed to provide students with a comprehensive training program for the management of wounds and skin care. Our training program was developed on the principles of evidence based research utilizing the AHRQ Clinical Practice guidelines, current practice trends and standards.
Upon completion of The Skin & Wound Management course, all qualified participants are eligible to take the WCC® Exam at the end of the seminar. The WCC® Exam is offered by the NAWCO®. WCC® initials are the certification mark of the NAWCO® and you can use these credentials after successfully passing the exam. WCC® provides an added credential beyond licensure and demonstrates by examination that you have acquired a core body of specialized knowledge.
