SARA LEFKOWITZ, RN, BSN, MPA

Sara Lefkowitz, RN, BSN, MPA, is a dynamic and engaging speaker who presents highly acclaimed seminars on stress reduction for healthcare workers throughout the United States. She has firsthand knowledge of the challenges that nurses face through her years working in large urban hospitals on medical surgical units and in the emergency department. She did this while being a wife and mother; so she understands the difficulties of juggling family and career responsibilities.

Sara is naturally curious and a lifelong learner. This spirit helped her face her own periods of burnout with optimism and hope. She is excited to share with you the best techniques from her studies on mindfulness based stress reduction, meditation, compassion, and wellbeing. Because the best cure can be a day in nature; Sara is often found kayaking on the bay or hiking in the mountains.

Sara hopes you will join her in this experiential and career-changing workshop. She will teach you how to calm the mind, soothe the emotions and speak up for the profession. In a nutshell, when stressed; breathe, feel your feet on the floor, and choose kindness. Speaker Disclosures
