ANNA LIZA RODRIGUEZ, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN®

Anna Liza Rodriguez is currently the Director of Oncology, Women's, and Children's Services and the Pain Center at a 360-bed academic teaching hospital in Chicago. In this role, she is responsible for patient care, quality and service excellence, operational and financial efficiency, program development, strategic planning for service line growth, regulatory compliance and accreditation. Anna Liza recognizes the challenges facing leaders in today's healthcare landscape. She will share her insights in developing critical leader competencies, effectively leading diverse teams, managing business unit financials, and engaging and mentoring staff.

Throughout her career, Anna Liza has worked in various specialties including geriatrics, rehabilitation, medical-surgical, obstetrics, hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplantation. She has also held various positions along the way, including: staff nurse, charge nurse, clinical coordinator, manager, director, and director of service lines.

Anna Liza developed and facilitated charge nurse and clinical coordinator trainings for emerging leaders. She teaches an oncology certification review course and is a published author of several abstracts, articles and book chapters. She speaks regionally and nationally on various clinical and leadership topics. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Oncology Nursing Society.
